Pre-Primary

Pre-Primary section at Jai Durga School, Jaipur, is developed so as to provide young learners with a happy, safe and challenging beginning to their education. We know that the first years of childhood are very important, as children are formed not only with an academic preparation but also emotional stability, social abilities, and curiosity. Our Nursery, Play Group, LKG and UKG programs are directed towards whole child nurturing in a nurturing and interest-driven atmosphere.

At this age, the most effective way of learning is through play, exploration and interaction. Curriculum We use the play-based and activity-oriented approach where children are encouraged to observe, ask a question, and feel free to express their thoughts. Classrooms are bright-colored, air-conditioned, and child-friendly structures, which make a child feel at ease and uninhibited at school during the first day.

Language development is introduced through stories, rhymes, picture reading, and conversation-based activities. Children gradually build vocabulary, listening skills, and early speaking confidence. Pre-writing skills are developed using drawing, coloring, tracing, and fun worksheets that strengthen fine motor coordination without pressure.

Basic numeracy concepts such as numbers, shapes, patterns, and comparisons are taught through games, puzzles, and hands-on activities. This helps children understand concepts naturally rather than through memorization. Outdoor play, music, dance, and free movement are integral parts of the daily routine, supporting physical development and emotional well-being.
